The keynote session Telematic Performance as well as Fluid Sounds and Fluid States - Solid Tastes will take place on Amager, an island to the south of Copenhagen City center, and the two parts of the city are connected by bridges. Find a google map here.


The Fluid States North in Copenhagen will take place on University of Copenhagen Amager campus.

The campus is close to the metro station Islands Brygge on metro line M1 (towards Vestamager). The metro line M1 connects to Nørreport station, a central hub in Copenhagen city center, as well as to Copenhagen Airport Kastrup (metro line M2, change at Christianshavn station).

Most of the Fluid States North events in Copenhagen will take place in Multisalen (The Multi Hall), located in Building 21, University of Copenhagen Amager Campus, Karen Blixens Vej 1, 2300 Copenhagen S. Find a map of the campus area here.

Where to stay:

There are many hotels in the center of Copenhagen that may be convenient in order to get to the conference venue at University of Copenhagen Amager campus, where most of the Copenhagen part of Fluid States North takes place. Here are some suggestions for accommodation that is either in walking distance to the venue, or close to a metro station or Copenhagen central station.

Danhostel Copenhagen City - in walking distance to the venue, about 20 minutes walk.

Hotel Copenhagen - very close to the venue, about 10 minutes walk, and cheap rooms as well as apartments.

Cabinn City - cheap rooms, not so far from the central station, and a good walk to the venue (about 25 minutes)

Hotel Danmark - good location near the City Hall and National Museum, and about 25 minutes to walk to the venue.

Ibsens Hotel - close to Nørreport station (metro, s-train, regional trains, busses)

Hotel Kong Arthur - close to Nørreport station (metro, s-train, regional trains, busses)

Absalon Hotel - close to Copenhagen Central Station (s-train, regional trains, busses)
